Softball Game Preview: Chouteau-Mazie Wildcats vs. Rejoice Christian Eagles

The Chouteau-Mazie Wildcats will head out to take on the Rejoice Christian Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chouteau-Mazie's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Rejoice Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Chouteau-Mazie is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Locust Grove just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 3-0 to the Pirates. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Saturday. Rejoice Christian lost 11-2 to Morris.

Chouteau-Mazie's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Rejoice Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Chouteau-Mazie couldn't quite finish off Rejoice Christian in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 and fell 10-8. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
