Ella Smith Game Report: vs Latta

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Saturday Ella Smith stepped things up a notch to give McLoud the 'W'. Smith turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
