Football Game Preview: Mercer Mustangs vs. Sharpsville Blue Devils

Mercer hasn't had much luck against Sharpsville recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Mustangs will host the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m.

Things were looking good for Mercer after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 30-21 to Saegertown. While the Mustangs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 7-0 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Sharpsville won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Lakeview 21-20. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Sailors: they've now won six in a row.

Mercer's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Sharpsville, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
