October 3, 2025: Mercer, PA 16137 The Mercer Mustangs edged the visiting Sharpsville Blue Devils football team by a score of 18-12 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 challenge, on Friday, October 10. Mercer will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Greyhounds come into the outing with a 5-2 record after their 42-0 league win over Reynolds (Greenville, PA).
With the defeat, Sharpsville drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Farrell (Farrell, PA) to clash with the Steelers in a District 10 Region 1 outing on Friday, October 10. The Steelers come into the outing with a record of 4-2. Farrell lost 40-24 in their recent non-league game against Steubenville (Steubenville, OH)
