Soccer Recap: Cass Wins Going Away Against Mceachern

Cass's and McEachern's game on Friday was close at halftime, but Cass turned on the heat in the second half with four goals. Everything went the Cass Colonels' way against the McEachern Indians as the Cass Colonels made off with a 6-1 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Colonels as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Cass picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-3. As for McEachern, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Cass will welcome Southeast Whitfield County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Southeast Whitfield County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season. As for McEachern, they will venture away from home to challenge New Manchester at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McEachern has given up an average of 3.2 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
