After flying high against Chadron last Thursday, O'Neill came back down to earth. The Eagles fell 7-4 to the Tekamah-Herman Tigers on Tuesday. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Rylee Selby was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

O'Neill's defeat dropped their record down to 17-12. As for Tekamah-Herman, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-15 record this season.

O'Neill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tekamah-Herman, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-0 loss against Fort Calhoun on the 7th.
