The Hapeville Charter Hornets will head out on the road to face off against the Lovett Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Hapeville Charter sitting on three straight victories and Lovett on 16.

Hapeville Charter's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on KIPP Atlanta Collegiate with a sharp 15-0 win. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Lovett's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over Rockmart.

Hapeville Charter's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Lovett, their win bumped their record up to 16-3.
