Soccer Game Preview: Roseland University Prep vs. Sonoma Academy

Roseland University Prep is 0-5 against Sonoma Academy since January of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Roseland University Prep Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sonoma Academy Coyotes at 4:30 p.m.

Roseland University Prep came up short against Kelseyville on Monday, falling 8-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Knights were already down 6-1.

Meanwhile, Sonoma Academy waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Knights a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Coyotes, who have now won eight contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Sonoma Academy pushed their record up to 11-2-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four games. As for Roseland University Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3-3.
