Basketball Recap: Farrell Takes a Loss

Farrell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 45-37 to the Lakeview Sailors. While losing is never fun, the Steelers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 581st, while the Sailors are ranked 221st).

Farrell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Lakeview, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Looking ahead, Farrell will venture away from home to square off against Wilmington at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Wilmington has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Lakeview, they will welcome Sharpsville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
