Soccer Recap: California Military Institute's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nuview Bridge, California Military Institute was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Temecula Prep Patriots with a sharp 5-1 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Rough Riders as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

California Military Institute's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3-1 and their overall record up to 2-7-1. As for Temecula Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Santa Rosa Academy the next time they take the pitch. Temecula Prep will head out to face Santa Rosa Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, while California Military Institute will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on January 15th.
