Baseball Game Preview: Jefferson County Warriors vs. Northeast Raiders

Jefferson County is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Northeast a nine-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Jefferson County Warriors will welcome the Northeast Raiders at 4:00 p.m. Jefferson County has given up an average of 12.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Jefferson County came up short against East Laurens on Wednesday, falling 17-4.

He has been hot recently, having posted four or more stolen bases the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Josh Evans, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Jefferson County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Northeast, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
