Softball Recap: Brooks County Starts Season with Loss at Home

Brooks County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Cook Hornets on Wednesday, falling 21-0. The Trojans have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Cook has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

While Brooks County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
