Soccer Game Preview: San Diego Jewish Academy vs. Liberty Charter

The San Diego Jewish Academy Lions will face off against the Liberty Charter Lions at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Tuesday, San Diego Jewish Academy came up short against Kearny and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Komets: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Liberty Charter was forced to settle for a draw. They and High Tech CV finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Wednesday.

Liberty Charter's goal came courtesy of Jillian Caudle, who's now up to two this season.

San Diego Jewish Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. With that draw, Liberty Charter's record moves to 1-2-1.

Everything went San Diego Jewish Academy's way against Liberty Charter in their previous meeting back in November of 2021, as San Diego Jewish Academy made off with a 9-0 win.
