Basketball Game Preview: Reynolds Raiders vs. West Middlesex Big Reds

Reynolds is 0-10 against West Middlesex since February of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The Reynolds Raiders will challenge the West Middlesex Big Reds at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 55-20, which was the final score in Reynolds' tilt against Lakeview on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 595th, while the Sailors are ranked 201st).

Meanwhile, West Middlesex was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against Wilmington, falling 61-28. The Big Reds were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-11.

West Middlesex's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Reynolds, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11.

Reynolds suffered a grim 56-32 defeat to West Middlesex when the teams last played back in January. Can Reynolds avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
