Moore posted their closest victory since August 26th on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 win over the Claremore Zebras. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Zebras: they've now won three in a row.

Moore's win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Claremore, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-12 record this season.

Moore wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-6 victory against Coweta on the 27th. As for Claremore, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Pryor on the 29th.
