Softball Recap: Hooker Takes a Loss

Hooker's last matchup with Sayre could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Eagles, falling 15-3. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Lexi Adair was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Yedelin DeHerrera, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Hooker's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Sayre, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Hooker will challenge Hobart at 1:00 p.m. on the 18th. Sayre does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
