Basketball Recap: Homestead Takes a Loss

Homestead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Monta Vista Matadors 70-41. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Matadors from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Homestead's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Monta Vista, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Homestead has already played their next matchup (against Fremont), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Monta Vista and Carlmont will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
