Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westlake Charter). They never let the Forest Lake Christian Falcons get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Wednesday. It was an even better day for Jovie Marczak as she scored three goals for her team.

Westlake Charter's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for Forest Lake Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westlake Charter will venture away from home to square off against Leroy Greene Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Forest Lake Christian, they are taking a road trip to face off against Victory Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Forest Lake Christian has given up an average of 6.5 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
