The Dalton Academy Pumas came up short against the Northwest Whitfield Bruins, falling 5-1. The Pumas just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Dalton Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Northwest Whitfield, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Dalton Academy will take on Fannin County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Fannin County their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Northwest Whitfield, they will be playing at home against Ridgeland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwest Whitfield's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Ridgeland's offense will have their work cut out for them.
