Football Recap: Mansfield Beats Many for Their Sixth Straight Win + How To Watch

Mansfield waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They strolled past the Many Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 28-10. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolverines also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Mansfield's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaydan Hamilton led the charge by rushing for 111 yards and a pair of scores on only nine carries. Hamilton's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 107 rushing yards. Jaterrious Howard was another key player, rushing for 76 yards on only eight carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Mansfield was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 242 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 159 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Mansfield didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jordan Maxie and Jakorion Greer. Mansfield got some further help from Roderick Canada: he made 12 total tackles (1.0 for loss).

Mansfield's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Many, they dropped their record down to 5-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Mansfield has already played their next contest, a 42-12 victory against Winnfield on the 14th. As for Many, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 35-27 win against Red River on the 14th.
