Soccer Recap: Pinewood Takes a Loss

Pinewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Cupertino Pioneers an easy 3-0 win. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly three goals.

Pinewood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Cupertino, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinewood will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on King's Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025. Cupertino will take on Santa Clara in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
