Softball Recap: Des Moines East Comes Up Short

Des Moines East lost against Indianola back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Scarlets lost 12-1 to the Indians. The Scarlets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Des Moines East's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Indianola, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-14 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Indianola beat Des Moines East by a score of 17-6 later that day.
