Basketball Recap: Basis Independent Silicon Valley Comes Up Short

Basis Independent Silicon Valley lost against The Nueva School back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Basis Independent Silicon Valley Bobcats took a hard 57-38 fall against The Nueva School Mavericks. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The Nueva School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Siana Kapoor, who posted 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anjali Mariathasan, who scored 14 points and four steals.

Basis Independent Silicon Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for The Nueva School, they moved to 5-12 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Basis Independent Silicon Valley has already played their next game (against Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. The Nueva School has already played their next matchup, a 46-32 defeat against Design Tech on the 6th.
