It's playoff time, and Banks County had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons a 1-0 shutout on Wednesday. The Leopards' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three contests.

Banks County pushed their record up to 26-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Academy for Classical Education, their loss dropped their record down to 23-11.

Banks County will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Gryphons: the pair will be back at it again later today.
