The Academy of the Holy Cross strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Bishop Ireton Cardinals as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tartans also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant The Academy of the Holy Cross was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-12.

Emme Wolfe paced The Academy of the Holy Cross' offense, picking up 12 kills. Wolfe got some help from Trinity Rowles and her 28 assists. Ana Woods controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

The Academy of the Holy Cross' victory bumped their record up to 16-0. As for Bishop Ireton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

The Academy of the Holy Cross will welcome Archbishop Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Ireton, they will head out on the road to square off against St. John's at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
