Soccer Recap: Madison Park Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Madison Park Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Fremont Tigers by a score of 1-0 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Trojan-Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Madison Park Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. The victory made it two in a row for Fremont and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Madison Park Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fremont, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Fremont duke it out with the Oakland at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oakland will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Fremont surely won't give up without a fight.
