Basketball Game Preview: Mountain View Spartans vs. Santa Teresa Saints

The Mountain View Spartans just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Santa Teresa Saints at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Santa Teresa took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Mountain View, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Mountain View was able to grind out a solid victory over Capuchino, taking the game 39-30. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Santa Teresa's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 61-49 to Evergreen Valley.

Santa Teresa's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Mountain View, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Mountain View didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Santa Teresa in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 53-47 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Santa Teresa's Sierra Pabo, who posted 22 points. Now that she won't be playing on Saturday, will it be easier for Mountain View to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
