Baseball Game Preview: M.L. King Lions vs. Forest Park Panthers

For the second straight game, M.L. King will face off against Forest Park. A feisty cat fight will be fought as M.L. King Lions challenge Forest Park Panthers at 5:55 p.m. on Friday. M.L. King is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, M.L. King came up short against Forest Park and fell 12-7.

For Forest Park's part, they got a massive performance out of Andre Turnipseed, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Turnipseed has become a key player for the Panthers: the team is 8-2 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 2-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacoby Hendricks, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Forest Park always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. The last time their OBP was this high was in their last six matchups.
