Baseball Recap: MacArthur Takes a Loss

MacArthur lost to Lincoln back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Generals fell 6-1 to the Railsplitters.

MacArthur saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aidan Bruce, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

MacArthur has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Lincoln, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. MacArthur will host St. Teresa at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lincoln, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Bloomington at 4:30 p.m.
