Football Recap: West Johnston Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The West Johnston Wildcats had to suffer through a 38-6 loss at the hands of the Union Pines Vikings. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Case Holland threw for 109 yards and one TD. Emmanuel Johnson was his top target, picking up 36 receiving yards.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Union Pines to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ian Hicks, who threw for 204 yards and one touchdown, and also punched in a pair of scores on the ground. Those 204 passing yards gave Hicks a new career-high. Adrian Colon was another key rusher, gaining 71 total yards and two touchdowns.

West Johnston's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Union Pines, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
