Soccer Game Preview: Brentwood School vs. Viewpoint

The Brentwood School Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Viewpoint Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Brentwood School's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Viewpoint's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Brentwood School is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Windward on Monday. Brentwood School fell just short of Windward by a score of 1-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Eagles haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Viewpoint was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They came up short against Campbell Hall, falling 4-1.

Viewpoint's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-5. As for Brentwood School, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1-1 and their overall record down to 8-2-2.

Brentwood School beat Viewpoint 3-1 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for Brentwood School since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
