Soccer Recap: Olympia Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Olympia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Pleasant Plains Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Olympia of the 9-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Olympia's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Pleasant Plains, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 9-7 record.

Looking ahead, Olympia will take on Springfield Southeast at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Olympia will be up against Springfield Southeast's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Pleasant Plains, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
