Football Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central lost against Oswego back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Raiders were outmatched by the Indians and fell 52-18. The Raiders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 24-0.

Although Central took the loss, they still got scores from Ethan Ferguson, Bradyn Nellsch, and Treighton Hafenstein.

Central is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Oswego, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Central will host Cedar Vale/Dexter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oswego, they are taking a road trip to face off against Northeast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.4 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
