Given the Toros' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 265th, while the Warriors are ranked 626th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, San Joaquin Memorial had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They breezed by the Patriots to the tune of 69-22. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 32 points or more this season.

Torres pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.2 points per game. As for San Joaquin Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 12-4.
