Basketball Recap: Millz Medearis and Joy Ige Secure Win for Johansen

Johansen won the last time they faced Modesto and things went their way on Saturday too. The Johansen Vikings managed a 35-29 win over the Modesto Panthers.

Leading Johansen to victory were Joy Ige and Millz Medearis. Ige posted six points in addition to 11 boards and six steals, while Medearis had six points and nine rebounds.

Johansen's record is now 5-8. As for Modesto, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Johansen will take on Ripon Christian at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Modesto, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bear Creek at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th.
