Soccer Recap: Southeast Bulloch Comes Up Short

If Southeast Bulloch was feeling good fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Beach last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets fell just short of the Jenkins Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Yellow Jackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 116th, while the Warriors are ranked 33rd).

Southeast Bulloch suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 4-3. As for Jenkins, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Looking ahead, Southeast Bulloch will venture away from home to face off against Long County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jenkins, they will welcome Calvary Day at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jenkins is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6.6 goals per game this season.
