Basketball Recap: Perkins County Gets the Win

Perkins County won the last time they faced Kimball and things went their way on Friday too. The Plainsmen walked away with a 52-39 win over the Longhorns. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Plainsmen.

Despite the defeat, Kimball saw an underclassman step up: sophomore JaLeigh Bohac went 5-for-9 on her way to 14 points along with eight boards and five steals. Bohac also set a new season-high mark in shooting accuracy with 56%. Jaylah Graves was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

The victory got Perkins County back to even at 2-2. As for Kimball, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
