Basketball Recap: Mt. St. Joseph Academy Comes Up Short

Mt. St. Joseph Academy lost against Bayard Rustin back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mt. St. Joseph Academy Magic took a 42-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bayard Rustin Golden Knights.

Mt. St. Joseph Academy's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Bayard Rustin, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. St. Joseph Academy will venture away from home to challenge Lower Merion at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bayard Rustin, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against East at 1:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
