Volleyball Recap: Lake Creek Wins Going Away Against Kingwood

There's no place like home for Lake Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Kingwood Mustangs on Friday. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Lions yet this season.

While Lake Creek might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Kingwood scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 25-21.

Lake Creek can attribute much of their success to Brooke Kelley, who had 20 assists and one block. With that strong performance, Kelley is now averaging an impressive 12.3 assists per game. Sutton Breck Tessier also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
