Baseball Recap: Webster County Takes a Loss

Webster County played against Crawford County on Friday and lost via forfeit.

Webster County is on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5. As for Crawford County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Webster County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pataula Charter Academy at 5:30 p.m. on April 14. As for Crawford County, they will head out to challenge Taylor County at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Taylor County will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Crawford County surely won't give up without a fight.
