Basketball Game Preview: Ray Bearcats vs. San Manuel Miners

The Ray Bearcats will head out on the road to square off against the San Manuel Miners at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ray is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.4 points per game this season.

Ray took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat San Miguel 78-41. The Bearcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ray to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chase Chester, who went 6 for 8 on his way to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jhett Young, who went 6 of 10 en route to 14 points.

Meanwhile, San Manuel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 55-22 loss at the hands of Ray. The Miners were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-14.

San Manuel's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Ray, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.

Everything came up roses for Ray against San Manuel when the teams last played on Tuesday, as the team secured a 55-22 win. In that game, Ray amassed a halftime lead of 40-14, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
