Baseball Recap: Berrien Takes a Loss

Berrien lost against Cook back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Berrien took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cook. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Berrien saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Barker, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Berrien's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Cook, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Looking ahead, Berrien will venture away from home to face off against Dodge County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Dodge County will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Berrien surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cook, they will challenge Brooks County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cook is facing Brooks County at the right time seeing as Brooks County is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
