Recap: Washington Huskies vs. Oak Grove Eagles
The Washington Huskies won the last time they faced the Oak Grove Eagles, and things went their way on Friday too. Washington came out on top against Oak Grove by a score of 50-40.
It was another big night for Mikaela Dumagan, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. Those ten rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Yamaguchi, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.
Washington is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Oak Grove, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on College Park at 2:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
