Volleyball Game Preview: St. Andrew's Lions vs. Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats

The St. Andrew's Lions will square off against the Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

St. Andrew's is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Valwood just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Valiants by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, St. Andrew's sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-27, 15-8.

Meanwhile, Westminster Schools of Augusta came up short against Valwood on Friday and fell 2-0.

St. Andrew's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Westminster Schools of Augusta, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-5.
