Basketball Recap: Northgate Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

Northgate won the last time they faced Benicia and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Northgate Broncos enjoyed a cozy 49-34 win over the Benicia Panthers.

It was another big night for Samantha Myhr, who posted 17 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Maddison Sardelich, who had seven points and 19 rebounds.

Northgate's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Benicia, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-2.

Northgate and Benicia should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Northgate (ranked 160th) will meet Concord (ranked 622nd) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Benicia (ranked 187th) will meet College Park (ranked 774th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
