Soccer Recap: Cabrillo Takes a Loss

Cabrillo lost against Long Beach Poly back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cabrillo Jaguars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits.

Cabrillo's loss dropped their record down to 4-3-3. As for Long Beach Poly, the victory got them back to even at 2-2-1.

Cabrillo will take on Calvary Chapel in a holiday battle at at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Cabrillo's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Long Beach Poly, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Compton at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
