Softball Recap: Rutland Takes a Loss

Rutland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-3 to the Warner Robins Demons. That's two games in a row now that the Hurricanes have lost by exactly ten runs.

Rutland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrianna Kadian, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Rutland's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Warner Robins, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Rutland will face off against Howard at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Warner Robins will be paying especially close attention to the Hurricanes' match: after the Hurricanes face off against the Huskies, they'll take on Warner Robins again at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
