Basketball Recap: Bald Eagle Area Comes Up Short

Bald Eagle Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 52-12 defeat at the hands of the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Bald Eagle Area's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Bishop Guilfoyle, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bald Eagle Area will welcome Chestnut Ridge at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop Guilfoyle, they will host Bishop McCort at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
