Soccer Recap: Fairfield Takes a Loss

Fairfield managed to keep up with West Campus until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Fairfield Falcons lost 6-2 to the West Campus Warriors.

Saraii Hayes and Ruby Rios scored both of Fairfield's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Fairfield's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-6. As for West Campus, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-1-4 record this season.

Fairfield wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Burbank on the 9th. As for West Campus, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 7-1 win against Valley on the 9th.
