Basketball Recap: Washington Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Washington ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They secured a 48-43 W over the King's Academy Knights. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.

Washington pushed their record up to 18-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for King's Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will head out to square off against Irvington at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Washington is facing Irvington at the right time seeing as Irvington is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for King's Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Harker at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Harker will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something King's Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
